TACA to face lawsuit for negligence, false imprisonment, emotional distress, and fraud
El Rescate, a Los Angeles based non-profit organization, committed to the protection of humanitarian rights of the Latin American community, announced that it has been in contact with passengers of the TACA International Airlines, Flight 670.All passengers were in route to Los Angeles, from El Salvador, on December 1, when they were confined under unsanitary and harsh conditions, within the airline, on the tarmac at Ontario International Airport, for nearly 9 hours.
El Rescate, has received numerous complaints from the passengers that they have been treated unfairly by TACA airlines, who has offered coupons to compensate them for the airlines wrongful actions. According to spokesman Salvador Sanabria, the attorneys contacted by the passengers have indicated that they intend to file a Federal class action suit by the end of this week, to obtain fair compensation for the victims.
The lawsuit will include claims for violation of FAA regulations for the manner in which the passengers were detained, and for common law claims for negligence, false imprisonment, emotional distress, and fraud based upon the inadequate training of TACA’s pilot.
According to El Rescate, the lawsuit was generated as a result of TACA’s mistreatment of its Salvadorean passengers, in comparison to passengers of other airlines that have been similarly wronged.

I agree with the decision taken from fellow Salvadorans to law suit from those who were mistreated by Taca Airlines.
ReplyDeleteNo Corporation would understand that Customer Service is first before the profit generated by Inmmigrats from our Country.
